Rachel Matteson teaches art 1-6 grades in Utah. Originally from Missouri, she worked at Chase Studios, which made the dioramas for the Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point. Rachel has a BFA in Illustration from Eastern Michigan University. She has taught children for over 15 years. Her favorite teaching experiences were when she directed theater summer camp for 5 years with children ages 6-12 years old, directed and produced two Shakespeare plays with youth ages 12-16 years, and developed and led a class for students ages 14-18 on creativity culminating in a community exhibit.
